I want to use technology to solve human problems.
My name is João Paulo Marinato de Resende and I believe in helping others. While you can't control your circumstances, you can always choose to be a helper.
Born in Rio de Janeiro, growing up I lived all over Brazil and abroad. I volunteered with the unhoused population of Rio and learned customer service while working at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Experiences like those allowed me to learn how one person can affect a community.
My goal in life became connecting with people to better help those who need it.
My biggest inspiration in life comes from the great Mr. Rogers, who said:
"When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me:
‘Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping’."
