Logo Design Process
Concept
In this project, I had to create a logo for a fictional company and later incorporate it into advertisements for a fictional product campaign.
I came up with a company called Woof, a lifestyle brand for pets and pet owners.
Design
Sketches
I drew 15 logo ideas on paper, chose the best 5 and used Illustrator to create 5 unique logo icons.

15 Logo Sketches
Black, White and Gray
To those 5 logos I added 3 bullet points explaining the elements behind it and what the logo represented.

5 Best Logos (Black & White and Grayscale)
Color
I created color wordmarks of the 3 best logos in 2 variations:
- A simple color version logo using Pantone SOLID COATED colors.
- A complex color version logo with gradients, effects, glows, shadows, some additional 'internal detail, etc.

3 Best Logos: Simple and Complex (Color)
Final Logo
To complete the assignment I chose the final logo i would use for the ad campaign.

Ad Campaign
Concept
With the final logo I developed artwork for an advertisement campaign for the fictional Woof company.
I designed 5 versions of the advert:
Ad Versions
- An original 8.5" x 11" version
- 4.25" x 5.5" (Magazine)
- 4.25" x 2.75" (Magazine)
- 2.25" x 11" (Web Banner)
- 8.5" x 2.25" (Web Banner)
Since Woof sells lifestyle pet products I came up with a campaign where they would be promoting their new food bowls.
I developed the copy, background art and adapted the wordmark to fit the advert’s colors.
For the food bowl I took a stock image (Adobe Stock) and incorporated the final logo as a pattern.
